Maths tutoring - Past work

In order to bring the subject some solid context, I believe it would be useful to start a theme by first discussing its utility. Then I would certainly run through some simple instances. I have to stress that there are no stupid enquiries, anything to assist a tutee's understanding is crucial. After I've gone through a couple of cases, I would like to have the student gone through their own instance, talking to me pretending they were the tutor and I was the tutee.

Numerous studies have revealed that attempting to discuss a concept you have a little while ago learned aids exceptionally in memorisation and comprehension. If I'm satisfied with their training, I 'd like to test their critical thinking by giving them a problem based upon whatever learned in the lesson, but with refined adjustments that need the student to actively engage with the work, as opposed to be on "auto-pilot".

Home task will be set on the topic talked about (absolutely nothing extra intense), and also even more lessons will be spent responding to exam-styled questions prior to carrying on to the following topic.

Throughout sessions I 'd like to urge a rather casual, pleasant environment. I have a good time mentor, and I really hope students enjoy my training sessions, as well as an unwinded mind is better at learning.
